Our Story

The House of DKANI can trace its history back to the nineteenth century.

The Family, from the island of Sri Lanka (then internationally known as Ceylon, but locally known as

Rathna Dweepa (which means Gem Island) started to build their collection of precious stones.
 

The collection of this Noble Family started with gifts brought by foreign diplomats from the Kings and Queens of many countries.

The Island itself was blessed with a rich source of Rubies, Blue Sapphires, Amethysts, Topazes, and many other gems.

The Family started to build an impressive collection of precious stones.

The current generation of the Family have assembled the collection and set these precious gems

into exquisite jewellery and created master pieces for the world to enjoy.
